Welcome, and thank you for being here. This blog was created at the intersection of scholarships and climate change; two spaces that, at first glance, may seem unrelated, but in reality are deeply connected.

Climate change is not just an environmental issue; it is a knowledge, capacity, and leadership challenge. Addressing it requires trained minds, strong institutions, and people equipped with the right skills to design policies, influence decisions, and implement solutions. Scholarships are one of the most powerful tools for building that capacity especially for young people from the Global South who are often closest to climate impacts, yet farthest from decision-making spaces.

This blog is my attempt to bridge that gap.

Here, I will share:

• Fully funded and partially funded scholarships in climate change, environmental policy, sustainability, development studies, law, and related fields
• Fellowships, internships, and research opportunities that support climate-focused careers
• Practical guidance on applications, personal statements, and navigating competitive selection processes
• Critical reflections on climate policy, governance, and justice, drawing from my academic training and professional experience

By linking scholarships with climate change, this platform recognizes a simple truth: education is climate action. Every scholarship awarded to someone passionate about climate solutions strengthens our collective ability to respond to the crisis either through policy reform, research, advocacy, technology, or community-based action.

This blog is also personal. My own journey in climate change science, policy, and advocacy has been shaped by access to learning opportunities, mentorship, and global academic spaces. I know how overwhelming the search for scholarships can be, and how isolating climate work can feel without guidance or community. This space is meant to be informative, honest, and supportive especially for students and early-career professionals navigating these paths for the first time.
